happy new year everyone!
a year has past and now we are in 2007! ain't that fast? after 1 more month, DLAs will be getting their ass out of SP for good! =) 3 years & now we are left with less than a month.
so princess carrie left for melbourne again leaving with us sweet memories. krispy kremes! babe remember to get a box for me when you are back again~ it's a pitty that she didn't get to watch the fire works and have the countdown with us. i still remember last year was crap how we celebrate new year. we were freaking queueing outside MOS for like 5hrs? & the shit part is we didn't get in & we didn't get to countdown! everyone outside was lost and too angry to know wat bloody time it is. but wat ever~ at least i'm with the people i love to cross over 2005 to 2006.
for this year's countdown, it's something different. still i didn't get to scream 5,4,3,2,1 happy new year which i always wanted to. but nvm. at least my year started with a symphony of fire works! yup, i was at the esplanade to catch that 8mins fire works. the weather was bad that night. it has those real irritating occasional rain that leaves you running searching for a shelter for every 15mins. only around 11pm than the weather start to play nice and allow the people to walk on the streets searching for their perfect spot to catch the fire works.
so my "perfect" spot isn't that perfect cause my view was blocked by One Fullerton! haha. in the end those low fire works display i can't really see much. only those that shoot real high up then i'm able to catch it. but the experience was wonderful. =) the food searching, running away from the rain, holding hands and squeezing thru the crowd was just sweet.
next year, i'll make sure i'll walk up the high way to have the best view of it.
